M&G Pod
Each week I present a podcast for the Mail & Guardian newspaper – its (loosely) called “Between the Pages”. I say loosely because no-one ever actually calls it that, its just a name that we adopted at the beginning and like a guest that won’t leave it is sitting there, on the couch, muttering quietly to itself. So we’re stuck with it until it leaves of its own volition, or dies. When either happens you’ll know about it.
In the course of the pod we talk to M&G journalists about the stories they’ve written, to try and get under the skin of the story a bit. In about half an hour we can’t do too many stories, but we try and squeeze three or four in.
The pod is produced by the stellar Jayne Morgan of Podcart. She’s fab and a proper BBC-trained, South African talk radio producer. She’s also my wife. So its all pretty cosy. Talk to her for five minutes and she’ll convince you that you or your company absolutely need a podcast. She’s uncanny that way.
